On Friday, Mrs. Grassie's Business Management class visited multiple car dealerships in Gallup, where they were presented with various business plans. These plans enable businesses to establish goals and outline strategies for achieving them. This educational experience prepares 10th-grade students for their involvement in the Mustang Moolah Market in the Spring.

House Bill 253 is being heard 02/09 at 8:30 AM, and your voice matters.

If this bill passes it will cause a $47 million dollar shortfall for GMCS this year - but there is still time to stop this legislation from moving forward. We are asking our community to please call and email members of the House Education Committee and our local legislators and urge them to vote NO on HB 253.

Please know this: GMCS is doing everything within its power to avoid any negative consequences to our students, staff, and community. We are actively advocating, working with legislators, and fighting to protect the funding our students depend on. A few minutes of your time telling our legislators to vote NO on House Bill 253 will make a real difference. Thank you for standing with our students and schools.

We are asking our community to please call and email members of the House of Education Committee and our local legislatures and urge them to vote NO to HB 253.

Our new teacher, Mr. Lamberto Geolin Jr., has sparked a wave of enthusiasm among our students for the New Mexico STEM challenge for high schools. Jaxon Gibbons, Trestan Lambson, and Jonathan Maki took their innovative Fire Alert System to Las Vegas, New Mexico, where they showcased their creation.. By developing a website for reporting fires and presenting their system to local residents, they demonstrated the potential for their project to drive positive change. Thanks to everyone who provided feedback and support. The team's dedication paid off, earning them the prestigious Community Impact Award. Congratulations, Mustangs! We're grateful for Mr. Geolin's guidance and Mr. Hamm's accompaniment, which helped make this achievement possible.

D'Ondray Shelendew and Devon Lalio demonstrated remarkable teamwork by setting up the gym for game days. Meanwhile, Leila Boone's enthusiasm and generosity in volunteering to photograph each game day have made a lasting impact, capturing the essence of Mustang Pride.
